Differentiated Literacy Intervention At Scale
Redefining Success with Reading
Can you imagine a world where every student gets exactly what they need to succeed as a reader? Can you imagine amplifying the power of 1 teacher to differentiate to every child?
Join the districts that have turned imagination into reality with Science of Reading-based 1:1 virtual instruction from Ignite Reading.
Ignite Reading:
We Help You Get Students Reading on Grade Level

Students meet daily with the same highly-trained tutor.
Daily, 15-minute tutoring sessions are
delivered by the same tutor each school day, providing students with an adult role model who believes in them, boosts their confidence, and motivates them to work hard to master new skills.
Science of Reading-based tutoring is differentiated for every student.
Ignite Reading tutors are trained to follow an evidence-based curriculum that complements your teachers' Tier 1 instruction with one-to-one virtual tutoring targeted to each student's specific decoding gaps.
Data-driven decision making guides instruction.
An Ignite Reading literacy specialist assigned to each school tracks students' progress monitoring results and provides regular reporting filled with actionable data to reinforce practices in the classroom.
From Behind to On Benchmark:
Intervention Impact Study
Johns Hopkins University researchers spent the 23-24 school year studying the reading progress of nearly 2,000 1st graders engaged in daily 1:1 foundational reading skills intervention from Ignite Reading.
Here's what they learned:
- Students reading on benchmark increased 213% with the help of high-dosage tutoring
- The number of students in need of intensive intervention decreased 55%.
- Students across demographics — including students of color, multilingual learners, and those with an IEP — all improved their skills at nearly the same rate, gaining an average of 5.4 months of added learning (compared to national averages).

"At one given time we have 15 students plugged into Ignite Reading, receiving
instruction from 15 different adults. Never could we replicate that in a school
system, and we couldn't afford it."
