Johns Hopkins University Study

Researchers followed 1,872 1st graders in Ignite Reading's virtual tutoring program for one school year.

Students on Benchmark Doubled

Johns Hopkins University researchers documented 2X growth of the number of students on benchmark with Ignite Reading instruction.  

Intervention Needs Plummeted

Johns Hopkins University researchers found the number of students needing intensive intervention in Chelsea was cut in half with the help of 1:1 tutoring — from 88% to just 35%.

Equitable Outcomes

Data revealed English learners, students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and Black and Hispanic students all achieved similar reading skills gains of just under five months or slightly more than five months of additional learning.
